Using the Flood Information screen

Users can edit or view the following fields below.

  1. Verify that all required fields are completed.
    Note:
    • If information is unknown, users can enter NOT MAPPED in the following fields:
      • Panel
      • Community Code
    • Also, users should observe the following guidelines:
      • Users must complete the Panel Date field; an actual date is required if entering data in the Panel field.
      • The Program Start Date field requires a date if selecting one of the following from the Program dropdown:
        • Emergency (01)
        • Regular (02)
        • Withdrawn (05)
        • Suspended (06)
        • Defunct (07)
    • Note that the Address2 field is editable, unless saved as a clean address.
    • Information entered in the Manual Latitude and Manual Longitude fields appear in the Matched Address section on the main order display screen.
    • Select the Store as Clean Address checkbox to store the address as clean. Selecting this option signifies that the address entered matches the USPS address format and is considered clean for any future use.
  2. Perform any of the following:
    • Click Save to confirm any changes.
    • Click Submit to send the flood information screen data to the internal mapping department.
    • Click No Update to ensure the order is not updated. This option is only when the determination is a life of loan update. clicking this button does not apply changes; the order returns to its previous determination state.
    • Click Cancel to void any changes and return to the main order screen.
    • Click Centroid to acquire census data from the center of a zip code.
    • Click Look for Clean Address to locate the latitude and longitude based on the Matched Address. A successful match returns data in the following fields:
      • Latitude
      • Longitude
      • MSA
      • State Code
      • County Code
      • Census Tract

    • Click Search Previous to search for the Input Address entered for the particular order. See Search Previous for more information.
